Terms of use for Rift Dice

Free, as is, no account

Rift Dice is a fan project. It is free to use, for fun, and provided as is and as available. You do not need an account. The warranty and liability limits below apply only as far as the law allows.

Who runs Rift Dice

Rift Dice is a personal, non-commercial project run by Michal Fuchs, Slovakia (the operator). It is not a company and has no ads. Contact: contact@riftdice.com.

Age

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to use Rift Dice. You must also meet the age and permission requirements that apply to your Riot account.

Your games and your account

Builds and champion picks are random suggestions, not advice. You decide how to use them and remain responsible for following Riot's Terms of Service, Community Pact and game rules. Use random, off-role or Troll builds in custom games where all players agree to that kind of play. Do not use them to disrupt queue games. Riot can penalise intentional feeding, sabotaging and griefing with warnings, restrictions, suspensions or bans.

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not responsible for reports, penalties, restrictions, suspensions or bans that follow your use of a suggestion. Nor is the operator responsible for loss of rank, rewards, virtual items or account access that follows it. The mandatory-law protections below still apply.

Build feedback

Build feedback is optional. A thumb rates the displayed build. We keep aggregate totals and may refuse repeats or busy requests. A saved thumb cannot be changed or withdrawn through the app.

Be decent

Do not use the site to harass, threaten or target another person.

Names you type

Seat names and lobby player names are shown to other players as you type them, except words the site masks. The site may mask words it recognises with ***. This does not mean that names are reviewed or safe. The word list is not complete, so you stay responsible for the names you enter. Seat names can also be included in shared board links. There is no separate room-name field.

Do not enter unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or discriminatory text. Do not impersonate anyone or enter another person's personal data without permission. The operator does not watch rooms and cannot remove a name or close an individual live room through an operator control. To report abuse or a rights concern, email contact@riftdice.com with the room code and what is wrong. The operator reads this address, but a report does not provide immediate action in a live room.

No warranty and limits of liability

Rift Dice is free of charge and provided as is and as available. The operator does not promise that the site, its data or its suggestions are available, correct, complete, current or free of errors. The operator also does not promise that a board, link or lobby is kept. A lobby can end at any time, for example when the site is updated.

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive loss, or for loss of data, loss of opportunity or game results. The operator is also not liable for loss that comes from relying on a suggestion or from not being able to use the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. Nothing limits your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you use Rift Dice as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live. Courts have jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.

Changes

The operator may change these terms. The date of the last change is at the top of this page. Material changes will be marked here before or when they take effect. If a change affects how your data is used, the operator will update the consent version so the site asks for your choice again on your next visit.
